Week 4 Results

I am a bit disappointed this week. I lost another 5 pounds this week, which is great, but was hoping for a bit more due to the amount of snow I shoveled this week. Don’t get me wrong, I am still pleased to drop another 5 pounds hopefully that work will show up later.

I have continued with intermittent fasting along with the keto diet. I still think intermittent fasting is responsible for most of my success so far. I do think I finally entered ketosis last Sunday, I felt a noticeable increase in energy and a dry mouth (test kit is on the way). The intermittent fasting has become much easier, I usually just eat twice a day now 5 hours apart. If I feel hungry, I go ahead and eat more. I am not trying to starve myself; I just eat when I am hungry, but I do try to keep all my eating within that 8-hour window. I am also getting better at checking the labels of the products I buy, which should help eliminate some of the mistakes I have made so far.
