What happened week 1?
Hey guys, this week I began my Ketogenic diet and combined it with intermittent fasting. I knew this wasn’t going to work for me if it was too complicated or hard to do. The way I approached my journey was to look up some keto meal recipes I thought I would like. I’m not paying attention to calorie counts or anything like that at this point, I’m only seeking keto meals I think I will enjoy and be fairly easy to prepare.
For week one I chose to try an Italian Tuna Salad, Chicken Salad with cranberries and walnuts, Garlic Chicken Thighs with green beans, a breakfast casserole, and a peanut butter cup type dessert. Full disclosure Day one I put my tuna salad on some brioche rolls I had, and the cranberries were not unsweetened. I wasn’t perfect this week, but I began my journey. The intermittent fasting wasn’t too bad, I only snacked a few times when I wasn’t supposed to.

Ended the week at 280lbs
Lost 5lbs this week, I think that’s a great start
